About

Some places live within us long before we ever arrive. For Naoual, Marrakech was one of them.

Growing up, she heard stories from her parents who lived and worked in Marrakech in the 1970s. Through their memories, the city became almost mythical—full of warm light, vibrant energy, and a way of life unlike anywhere else.

In 2010, she experienced Marrakech for the first time, and it was love at first sight.

From the moment she arrived, she felt an immediate connection to the city—its rhythm, atmosphere, and dialogue between heritage and modernity. Marrakech embodied everything she was drawn to: tradition and reinvention, intimacy and openness.

That feeling became the beginning of Riad Layl.

Riad Layl is an expression of Naoual’s vision: a balance between Moroccan essence and contemporary elegance. Every detail was designed with intention, preserving the soul of Moroccan craftsmanship while introducing a modern sensibility.

The riad reflects a deep respect for heritage while embracing a softer, evolving future—spaces shaped by light, texture, and stillness in harmony.

For Naoual and her family, it is deeply personal: a story of memory, passion, and belonging, born from love for Morocco and Marrakech.

Through Riad Layl, she shares a vision of Morocco grounded in tradition yet open to creativity, beauty, and the world beyond.
